About the position
Join an expanding pediatric hospitalist program that aims to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment. The position offers a balanced work-life schedule with day shifts only and minimal call responsibilities, as night coverage is managed by Nurse Practitioners. This role is ideal for those looking to work in a rural setting with easy access to major metropolitan areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care on the pediatric floor, nursery rounding, and deliveries.
- Conduct ER consults as needed.
- Participate in a block scheduling system with 1 week on/1 week off.
- Engage in clinical responsibilities with opportunities for academic involvement if desired.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Pediatrics.
- Experience in pediatric hospitalist or related field preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers.
