About the position

The Staff Physician at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital is responsible for providing direct patient care and emergency services, ensuring that patient health care needs are met at all times. This role involves developing treatment plans, assessing patient responses, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the office and at other locations.
• Develops treatment plans and assesses patient's response to treatment.
• Provides high quality emergency care to patients on an on-call basis and in rotation with other physicians.
• Investigates new techniques, practices, and equipment to maximize quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
• Assists in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement programs.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Ensures services are performed with compassion, understanding, and respect for others.
• Promotes the hospital's mission and philosophy in providing high quality healthcare services.
• Remains current with the latest trends in the field through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
• Collaborates with other physicians to ensure high quality medical care.
• Participates in educational programs and training sessions to share expertise.

Requirements

• 10 years relevant experience with 3 years in management and/or consulting.
• Quality background or equivalent years experience in a Clinical Role.
• MD degree.
