About the position
HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified orthopedic surgeon to join their established orthopedic practice in Effingham, Illinois. Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic surgical care to patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Participate in a Monday to Friday clinic schedule with the option of a 4-day work week.
- Manage 7 days of call per month with minimal after-hours clinic call.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Work with a dedicated RN First Assist in both surgical and clinic settings.
- Perform surgeries using available robotics technology.
Requirements
- Unrestricted Illinois medical license prior to start.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent clinical doctorate degree required.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in orthopedic surgery.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable.
