About the position
We are seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible/board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our elite team at Ascension St. Vincent Randolph in Winchester, Indiana. This full-time position involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality health outcomes and exceptional patient experiences. The role includes overseeing a Physician Assistant and offers leadership and growth opportunities within a supportive healthcare network.
Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Maintain 36 patient contact hours per week, with expected daily patient volume of 20 to 25.
- Collaborate with a strong team of experienced hospitalists and other specialists.
- Oversee the work of 1 Physician Assistant.
- Participate in leadership and growth opportunities within the organization.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
