The Staff Physician - Pediatrician role involves providing direct patient care and emergency services to ensure that the healthcare needs of pediatric patients are met. Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care in the office and at other locations, develops treatment plans, and assesses patient's response to treatment.
- Provides high quality emergency care to patients on an on-call basis and in rotation with other physicians.
- Investigates new techniques, practices, and equipment to maximize the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
- Assists in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement programs.
- Ensures the appropriate application of the hospital's mission and philosophy and departmental policies.
- Promotes the quality and efficiency of performance by remaining current with the latest trends in the field of expertise.
- Collaborates with other physicians to ensure high quality medical care and advanced healthcare services.
- Participates in educational programs and training sessions to share expertise and enhance the quality of education for new personnel.
