The Physician Practice Call Center Operator serves as a vital communication link between Carilion Clinic, patients, medical staff, and the general public. This role involves answering calls in a high-volume environment, assisting callers with information related to various specialty practices, and routing calls to the appropriate scheduling teams or departments based on patient needs. The position emphasizes the importance of excellent customer service and offers remote work options for candidates living within an hour of the Parkview facility.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls in a high call volume environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment such as a call center, physician's office, hospitality, or retail/service industry.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage difficult situations.
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills.
