About the position

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for recruiting qualified physicians and advanced practice professionals while leading network development initiatives throughout the Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG) medical service area. This role involves coordinating recruitment efforts, facilitating communication between providers and management, and developing effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate recruitment efforts for providers and clinics.
  • Facilitate communication between providers/clinics and JCMG management staff.
  • Identify targeted clinicians using creative recruitment methods.
  • Review CVs/applications and screen candidates to determine quality and fit.
  • Present provider opportunities with detailed information about compensation and benefits.
  • Search databases for potential candidates and develop hiring campaigns.
  • Research and attend job fairs and conferences for recruitment opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with residency programs.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials for recruitment events.
  • Maintain a candidate tracking database reflecting recruitment activities.
  • Track and verify invoices and funds spent on recruitment efforts.
  • Direct and coordinate candidate itineraries, including travel and site visits.
  • Follow up with interviewers and candidates to gather feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in a healthcare role interacting with providers.
  • Successful track record with 2 years of experience in recruiting or sales, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience mapping and sourcing resumes from various sources.
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to develop successful relationships with physicians and management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills.
  • Strong confidentiality awareness and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.
  • High degree of accuracy, efficiency, and dependability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of federal and state recruitment laws.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare recruitment or sales is a plus.
  • Certification in recruitment or human resources.
