About the position
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Sports Medicine Physician to develop and build a new Sports Medicine program at Hammond Clinic in Munster, Indiana. The role focuses on providing patient-centric care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and build the Sports Medicine program at Hammond Clinic.
- Provide patient-centric care with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.
- Establish strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
- Manage an average outpatient volume of 18-20 patients per day.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD/DO) required.
- Physician License (MD/DO) upon hire required.
- Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility) upon hire required.
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification from American Heart Association upon hire required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Sports Medicine is preferred.
