About the position
The Part-Time Urgent Care Physician position with National Wound Physician Group offers a unique opportunity to specialize in wound management while enjoying clinical autonomy and flexibility. This role emphasizes work-life balance, with no night shifts, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians will receive comprehensive training in wound care and have the chance to work in a mobile practice setting, visiting multiple facilities to provide bedside wound care.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management.
- Learn from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
- Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility visited.
- Document clinical findings in real-time using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
