About The Position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans aimed at healing and maximizing functional independence. This role requires a positive and energetic approach to patient care, utilizing clinical knowledge and skills to implement daily treatment plans and support patients in their recovery journey.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Doctorate degree preferred.
• Experience and knowledge with EMR software.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Familiarity with billing and coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to devise treatment plans.
• Implement and execute daily treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Collect and record patient care data in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
• Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
• Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
• Attend annual billing and coding seminars to stay updated on practices.
