About The Position

The Physical Therapist position at JAG Physical Therapy involves assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans in a supportive and energetic environment. The role focuses on aiding patients in healing, recovery, and maximizing their functional independence through personalized care. The therapist will work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing their clinical knowledge and skills to implement treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
• Experience or knowledge with EMR software.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Familiarity with billing and coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to devise treatment plans.
• Implement and execute daily care plans for patients.
• Collect and record patient care data in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare for patient evaluations by obtaining histories and understanding diagnoses.
• Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
• Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
• Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
