About the position

MozArt Music Academy, the largest music school in the San Fernando Valley, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Piano/Guitar Teacher to join our team. With a thriving community of 700 students receiving lessons each week, we are looking for an individual who can teach both piano and guitar, and potentially other instruments. The position is part-time and contract-based, with teaching hours primarily on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility of adding a second day based on student demand. As a Piano/Guitar Teacher at MozArt Music Academy, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music education to students of various ages, starting from as young as four years old. Our modern facility is designed to foster a positive learning environment, and we pride ourselves on having appreciative students and supportive families. We take care of all scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on what you do best—teaching music. Our strong administrative team works diligently to fill your teaching schedule, ensuring that our popular faculty members can teach back-to-back lessons, often with over 50 students per week. We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about music but also possesses a friendly and outgoing personality. The ideal candidate should be responsible, punctual, and a team player with a strong work ethic. Prior music teaching experience is preferred, and being a member of the Music Teachers Association of California is a plus. Additionally, the ability to offer both in-person and online lessons is essential to accommodate our diverse student base.

  • High energy, friendly, and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with young beginners, as young as 4 years old.
  • Responsible and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Team player.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to teach additional instruments beyond piano and guitar.
  • Membership in the Music Teachers Association of California.

Benefits
