About the position

The Piano Instructor position at Melody Makers Music Academy involves teaching piano to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Responsibilities

• Provide tailored instruction for all skill levels, focusing on proper techniques and effective music reading strategies.
• Select and utilize teaching materials appropriate for each student's level.
• Collaborate with families to communicate student progress and provide practice strategies.
• Support performance opportunities by preparing students for recitals and competitions.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for lessons.
• Uphold studio standards for communication and organization.

Requirements

• Holds a BA in music, BM, or Bachelor of Music Education (Highly preferred).
• At least one year of teaching experience (Preferred).
• Available for in-person lessons at least one full day (two or more days preferred).
