About the position
The Picker/Packer I role involves manually picking, packaging, and shipping materials with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The position is essential for ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and that the warehouse remains organized and clean.
Responsibilities
- Building individual components into kits with 100% accuracy
- Picking orders and packaging items for shipment with 95% accuracy
- Accurately pulling raw materials for outside kit vendors with 100% accuracy
- Palletizing LTL shipments
- Performing general housekeeping in the warehouse area including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and painting
- Conducting cycle counts of individual products in the warehouse and making appropriate inventory adjustments 100% of the time
Requirements
- Ability to manually pick and pack items accurately
- Attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in building kits and pulling materials
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
