About The Position

Fastenal is seeking energetic and team-oriented individuals for a part-time position in their distribution center located in Modesto, CA. The role involves picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately, contributing to the movement of products to company-owned branches. This entry-level position offers up to 28 hours per week, primarily during weekdays, and emphasizes a commitment to safety and sustainability in the workplace.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or over
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
