About the position

Amergis Healthcare is seeking experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for contract positions in the Houston area. The role involves providing critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services. The positions are available for a duration of 10 weeks, with shifts primarily during the night.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Critical Care or PICU.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Recent experience in a large facility.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous travel nursing experience.
