About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pilates Instructor to join our team at Q Variel Apartments located in Woodland Hills, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for leading dynamic and engaging Mat-based Pilates classes for our clients. Your primary focus will be on teaching Mat Pilates exercises, techniques, and principles to individuals of varying skill levels, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience. As an instructor, you will be expected to arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your class start time and maintain an average monthly utilization rate of at least 80% for your assigned classes. If this standard is not met, your class(es) may be subject to removal from the schedule. You will need to set up class equipment and ensure it is ready for use at the start of each class. If applicable, you will use the NRG Health & Fitness Mobile App to accurately record class attendance and manage client registrations. It is your responsibility to enforce the registration policy and confirm that all participants have properly registered for the class through the app. During scheduled classes, you may utilize the fitness amenities' equipment, but all equipment must remain within the facility and cannot be used for personal purposes. In the event that the facility lacks a sound system, you will be required to bring your own music device if music is a necessary component of the class. After each class, it is imperative that all equipment is returned to its proper location and properly sanitized. You are also expected to assist in maintaining a clean and organized studio/fitness area and promptly report any broken or damaged equipment to NRG management. Communication with NRG Management via emails, text, and phone during normal business hours is essential, as is providing constructive feedback on classes and sharing suggestions for improvement. You must wear appropriate athletic attire while acting as an NRG Instructor and accurately track your working hours using the ADP Mobile App. Additionally, you will be required to commute to different work locations to teach your assigned classes. If you are unable to teach a class, it is your responsibility to secure a substitute and inform management at least 72 hours in advance. Repeated failure to secure a substitute may result in your removal from those assignments. You are expected to adhere to the operating procedures and policies specific to each customer, and to teach your assigned classes on a consistent basis, with limited requests for substitutes allowed.
