Your role will involve not only the safe operation of the aircraft but also engaging with Owners and passengers pre-flight, providing them with essential information about their journey, and ensuring their comfort throughout the flight. You will be responsible for in-flight service, handling baggage, and addressing any special requests from passengers, including those traveling with pets or who smoke. As the final authority on your aircraft, you will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and communicate any maintenance issues to the appropriate channels. This position requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset, as you will be representing NetJets at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, OEM Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Practices.
  • Greets Owners/passengers pre-flight, makes introductions, briefs them on the specific flight/trip, verifies itinerary, provides weather updates, and safety briefings.
  • Delivers in-flight service including handling of alcohol and catering service as needed.
  • Loads and properly stows all baggage on the aircraft as needed.
  • Handles and conducts flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
  • Acts as the final authority on their aircraft with respect to all areas of operation, including compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
  • Acts as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safely landed at the final destination.
  • Communicates any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center Controller on duty.
  • Completes any paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned depending on assignment.

Requirements

  • Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
  • First Class Medical Certificate.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1,500 hours total flight time experience or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
  • 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
  • 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
  • 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
  • ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
  • Ability to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times during their tour.
