About the position

Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, is seeking qualified Second in Command (SIC) candidates for a Phenom 300 based in Salt Lake City, UT (KSLC). This position is not commutable; candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City area. The selected candidate will support approximately 400 hours per year of P135 flying as a third pilot on the account. The role requires adherence to the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity, which are the core principles of EJM's operations. As a SIC, you will be responsible to the Chief Pilot for the performance of all assigned duties involved in the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments. You will also be accountable to the assigned Pilot in Command (PIC) for all duties assigned during scheduled trips. Your responsibilities will include performing pilot duties in accordance with the Company General Operations Manual (GOM), FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, and Flight Manuals. You will ensure compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations. In addition to flight duties, you will be responsible for the post-flight condition of the aircraft interior, including the removal of debris and reporting any discrepancies to the PIC. You will also coordinate catering and cabin items required for flights, provide exceptional customer service, log and report flight and duty times, and maintain your First Class Medical Certificate. This position requires strong prioritizing and organizational skills, proactive decision-making abilities, and a commitment to upholding service standards in a strict regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pilot duties in accordance with the Company GOM, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
  • Maintain the post-flight condition of the aircraft interior, including the removal of debris and reporting discrepancies to the PIC.
  • Coordinate catering and cabin items required for flights as identified by the Flight Operations Center.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Log and report flight and duty times accurately.
  • Report all commercial flying performed outside the Company to the Flight Operations Center for inclusion in the Flight and Duty Time Records.
  • Maintain and provide the Flight Operations Training Department with a copy of the First Class Medical Certificate by the due date.

Requirements

  • ATP License
  • Total flight time: 2500 hours
  • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
  • Pilot in Command: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 150 hours
  • Jet: 250 hours
  • Turbine Engine: 100 hours
  • Strong prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Proactive decision-making skills
  • Valid Medical certificate
  • Ability to obtain a FAA Type rating in the Phenom 300 (if not already typed)
  • Strong customer service skills
