About the position

The Pilot Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pilot recruitment and selection, ensuring that candidates align with the company's culture and possess the necessary skills for their roles. This position plays a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and placing pilots, while also collaborating with various departments to meet staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Flight Department Managers on recruitment plans based on staffing levels and aircraft delivery schedules.
  • Execute recruitment and sourcing activities, including direct sourcing, job fairs, and social media outreach.
  • Manage recruitment efforts from initial sourcing to offer acceptance for all pilot positions.
  • Coordinate and attend recruitment events and job fairs as needed.
  • Prescreen potential candidates for program and company fit, salary expectations, and eligibility.
  • Schedule panel interviews and coordinate travel arrangements for candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate applicants in collaboration with Fleet Chief Pilot and Training staff.
  • Enter, track, and update candidate correspondence in the Recruitment module of Ultipro.
  • Establish and maintain recruitment metrics such as time to fill and offers accepted.
  • Assist with recruitment across various company functions as directed by the Recruiting Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a similar discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably with an aviation background.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and industry-specific aircraft.
  • Proven track record for sourcing and placing candidates in a technical field.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and evaluation skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Experience with payroll system Ultipro is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms related to recruitment and job promotion.
  • Aviation-specific knowledge related to hiring standards.
