About the position

The PIM Technician role at State Farm involves managing the production and mailing of confidential policyholder documents. This essential in-office position requires proficiency in various printing and mailing processes, as well as the ability to operate high-speed production equipment. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to quality service in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage outbound mailing and coordinate document pick up with presort vendor.
• Print, insert, and mail confidential policyholder documents.
• Operate, adjust, load, and maintain various types of machines and high-speed production equipment.
• Utilize workstation products and application software to support department direction and production objectives.
• Place orders and manage the receipt of inbound inventory.
• Train in specific functional areas of Printing Services and/or Direct Mail, including digital printing, inserting, and mailing.
• Develop a basic knowledge of the State Farm organization and assigned Administrative Services area.
• Demonstrate the ability to adjust priorities and align resources as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in a production environment with the ability to safely produce high volumes of work.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on workload.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for prolonged periods.
• Proficiency in operating workstation products and application software related to Printing Services and/or Direct Mail.

Nice-to-haves
