About the position
The PingFederate Engineer role involves implementing and testing the Universal Identity Directory using Ping Directory technology. The engineer will be responsible for identity data synchronization, migration processes, and ensuring data consistency across operational directories, particularly Active Directory. This position requires extensive experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) and familiarity with various IAM protocols and concepts.
Responsibilities
- Implement and test the Universal Identity Directory LDAP directory based on Ping Directory.
- Implement and test identity data sync pipes using Ping Directory Data Sync to import identity data from multiple sources.
- Provision identity data to connected operational directories, specifically Active Directory, and maintain data consistency.
- Work out, implement, and support migration processes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of work experience in Identity Access Management (IAM).
- Familiarity with LDAP directory technology, preferably Ping Directory.
- Experience with identity synchronization technology, preferably PingDataSync, including design, implementation, and integration in large-scale complex environments.
- Experience with IAM protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, XACML, Kerberos, and SCIM.
- Knowledge of IAM concepts such as federation, single sign-on (SSO), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), Zero Trust, and Passwordless.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud environments.
