About the position

The Pipe Foreman at TIC - The Industrial Company is responsible for leading and managing crew members' daily activities and production in accordance with project timelines, plans, specifications, and industry standards. This role emphasizes safety, operational procedures, and effective communication to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for efficient construction.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of construction equipment.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and carrying out sequences of activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work assignments within estimated costs while maintaining quality.
• Conduct operations according to safety rules and regulations.
• Develop and maintain a positive crew attitude through toolbox meetings and communication of safety concerns and work plans.
• Monitor compliance with company policies among crew members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field or related area.
• Thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under supervision.
• Ability to perform task planning for safe and efficient work execution.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, material control, and job cost management systems.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with craft workers and management.
• Strong communication, motivation, and teamwork skills.
