About the position
The Pipe Laborer position at Turner Staffing Group involves working in trenchless pipe rehabilitation and pipe bursting. The role is designed for individuals who are motivated, safety-oriented, and eager to learn in a dynamic work environment. The laborer will be responsible for various tasks related to pipe work, including installation, maintenance, and assisting in site surveys, while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe rehabilitation and stormwater BMP installation.
- Demolish, install, and repair fencing as needed.
- Assist in site survey and staking activities.
- Drive trucks and dump loads as required.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborate with teammates to maximize production while adhering to safety rules.
Requirements
- Valid CDL license is required.
- Safety-oriented with awareness of surroundings.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing tasks.
- Experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
