About The Position

As a member of Sundt, a 100% employee-owned contractor, you will assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties while also engaging in various crafts as needed. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, contributing to the company's mission of building long-term prosperity for clients and communities.

Requirements

• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II), and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
• Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision.
• Take direction from higher skilled workers or foreman.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Safely and effectively use or operate work-related tools and equipment.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means, and methods regarding the work.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
• Produce high-quality work, safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work.
