About the position

The Pitch Exploration Lab at Penn State University is seeking a part-time Project Coordinator to manage various aspects of the lab's operations. This role involves overseeing project documentation, personnel management, and ensuring compliance with research protocols. The coordinator will also represent the lab in various capacities and manage funding-related information.

Responsibilities

• Complete all documents necessary for continuing IRB approval.
• Manage day-to-day operations of projects and project personnel.
• Create and update procedure manuals.
• Track subject recruitment and retention.
• Administer consent protocols and train new project staff.
• Assist in coding and checking data from scorers.
• Clean and code data, maintain equipment such as laptops and microphones.
• Conduct random checks of study procedures to ensure adherence and accuracy.
• Organize and disseminate information related to student, lab, and project funding.
• Serve as a representative of the lab and organize visits by guests.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and software skills.
• Experience in project management and coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
