The PL/SQL Developer position is a contract-to-hire role that requires candidates to be eligible or already authorized to work in the United States. The primary focus of this role is to perform database-related tasks associated with ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong PL/SQL skills, with the ability to create and maintain complex packages, stored procedures, and functions. A solid understanding of advanced bulk collect practices is essential for ensuring excellent database performance. In this role, the Database Engineering function is accountable for delivering both standard and custom, supportable infrastructure technology solutions that align with architectural standards, new technology roadmaps, and business requirements. The responsibilities also encompass the operational aspects of infrastructure management, ensuring compliance with solution requirements and defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Database Engineering team is dedicated to supporting their technology domain through effective database management. The PL/SQL Developer will be expected to design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex hardware and software components, tools, and utilities necessary for the operation, maintenance, and control of systems. This includes coordinating with users to determine their requirements, reviewing systems under development, and related documentation. The role may also involve making complex modifications to existing hardware and software to meet specialized needs and configurations, as well as maintaining program libraries and technical documentation. Additionally, the developer may coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs. Mentorship of less experienced associates may also be a part of this role, either formally or informally.
