About the position

The PL/SQL Developer role is a contract-to-hire position focused on database-related tasks for in-flight projects. The position requires strong PL/SQL skills to create and maintain complex packages, stored procedures, and functions, while ensuring excellent database performance through advanced bulk collect practices. The role is part of the Database Engineering function, which is responsible for delivering technology solutions that meet architectural standards and business requirements, as well as managing operational aspects of infrastructure in line with defined Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Perform database-related tasks associated with in-flight projects.
• Create and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions.
• Implement advanced bulk collect practices for optimal database performance.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex hardware/software components and tools.
• Coordinate with users to determine requirements and review systems under development.
• Make complex modifications to existing hardware/software to meet specialized needs.
• Maintain program libraries and technical documentation.
• Assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.
• Act as a mentor to less experienced associates.
