About the position

The PL/SQL Developer / Reports Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). The position requires strong technical skills in PL/SQL and Oracle databases, along with effective communication abilities to collaborate with various teams and end users. The developer will also be responsible for performance analysis, debugging, and production support activities related to report generation and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test OBIEE/BIP reports, schedules, ad hoc analysis, and dashboards.
• Assist in testing reports, query preparation, and validation.
• Review and fix issues in reports.
• Work with ETL and application teams to review, fix, and consult for solutions.
• Respond to and communicate with end users regarding issues, fixes, and validations.
• Design and develop reconciliation model related reports.
• Assist in production support activities for reports, data fixes, and source data validation for ETL.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of professional experience in PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Strong skills in OBIEE version 12c, including BIP Reports, report/analysis/dashboard creation, and web catalog maintenance.
• Experience with Oracle Database, including tables, views, queries, functions, and procedures.
• Ability to perform Oracle query performance analysis and fixes.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of scheduler and admin functions for OBI and BIP.
• Debugging skills and understanding of reconciliation models or report comparison and validation.
