In addition to PL/SQL development, the role requires proficiency in UNIX scripting, where the developer will create and maintain UNIX shell scripts (versions 6/7/8) to automate processes and manipulate data effectively. The position also entails Java development, specifically working with Java version 6 and above, and integrating with JMS (Java Messaging Service) for enterprise messaging solutions. Version control is a critical aspect of this role, as the developer will utilize Git to manage code repositories and collaborate on code changes with team members. Familiarity with AWS services is essential for deploying, scaling, and managing applications in a cloud environment.
