About the position

The PL/SQL Developer role is a permanent position based in Pennington, NJ, requiring a hybrid work model of three days in the office. The position focuses on developing and implementing enterprise data quality standards, ensuring effective solution delivery management, and mentoring team members. The developer will be responsible for overseeing database performance, automation, and advocating for modern application development practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, articulate mitigate risks and escalate concerns in a timely manner
• Exemplifies and evangelizes great solution delivery management by minimizing technical debt and surpassing design and engineering practices
• Demonstrates the development and implementation of enterprise data quality standards and data protection standards
• Acts as a liaison for production activities/issues
• Mentors the team on work breakdown and execution
• Oversees continuous improvement of database scalability performance
• Uses versioning tools such as GIT/Bit bucket
• Sets up jobs using autosys for automation
• Advocates and advances modern application development deployment Agile solution delivery, Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery
• Identifies data anomalies/data patterns in huge data sets.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in PL/SQL development
• Strong understanding of database scalability and performance
• Experience with versioning tools such as GIT/Bit bucket
• Knowledge of automation tools like autosys
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern application development practices
