About the position

The PL/SQL Developer role involves working within the healthcare domain, specifically focusing on the development and maintenance of applications using PL/SQL and Informatica. The position requires interfacing with key stakeholders, applying technical proficiency throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and delivering high-quality code. The developer will also be responsible for creating design artifacts, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and transition activities. This role emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to diversity and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Develop customized solutions to support critical business functions and meet project objectives.
  • Manage daily support and maintenance and conduct long-term improvement operations.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies.
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to respond to changing project requirements.
  • Interact directly with clients, managers, and end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements.
  • Mentor 2 to 4 development team members as needed and technically drive them towards results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 6 years of Information Technology experience.
  • 4+ years of Informatica and PL/SQL experience.
  • Very good understanding of Healthcare Payer Domain, including knowledge of Claims, Membership, Billing, Provider, Capitation, and UM modules in TriZetto Facets.
  • Proficient in data profiling, data modeling, and ETL skills.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and troubleshooting API integration code.
  • Familiarity with Github and other source control tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL and Stored Procedure development.
  • Experience in Informatica 10.1 or higher.
  • Experience in Unix, Python, and Java is a plus.
  • Experience in Healthcare EDI is a plus.
