About the position

The PL/SQL Developer position involves working with large datasets and writing complex queries to optimize database performance. The role requires creating materialized views for data refresh, developing data models for online exams, and scheduling PL/SQL jobs. The developer will also handle Oracle XML, JSON, and CLOB data, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Write complex queries and perform tuning for large volumes of data.
• Create materialized views to refresh data between databases on a daily or hourly basis.
• Develop a data model for holding online exams with normalization.
• Create Oracle scheduler jobs to run PL/SQL blocks at specified intervals.
• Determine table sizes and identify data storage locations for specific tables.
• Handle Oracle XML, JSON, and CLOB data.

Requirements

• Experience with large datasets, capable of handling millions of rows.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of creating materialized views for data refresh.
• Experience in data modeling, particularly for online exams.
• Ability to create Oracle scheduler jobs for PL/SQL execution.
• Familiarity with Oracle XML, JSON, and CLOB data types.
