About the position

CTIS, Inc. is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, debug, document, unit-test, implement, and deploy database objects. This hybrid role requires adherence to the SAFe Agile software development life cycle methodologies and involves collaboration with the business analysis team to understand project requirements. The position demands expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, along with experience in cloud-based implementations, particularly AWS RDS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, document, unit-test, implement, and deploy database objects.
• Interact with the business analysis team to understand project requirements.
• Develop overall architecture/product design documents and technical design specifications.
• Ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
• Develop database objects like packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and type objects using SQL Developer.
• Apply expert knowledge of Oracle, including troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and code re-use.
• Familiarize with JSON, DBMS packages, and DBMS jobs.
• Implement additional frameworks like Oracle APEX.
• Utilize Atlassian tools to support project development activities in a CI/CD environment.
• Perform code reviews and unit testing of PL/SQL code developed by team members.
• Develop applications using SAFe Agile methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent specialized knowledge in software development and web application technologies.
• 5-8 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Weblogic, Apache HTTP (OHS), Oracle APEX, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and SAML integration for Oracle APEX.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Cloud-based implementations, particularly AWS RDS.
• Knowledge of CMMI Level 3 processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
