The Plaintiff's Attorney position at a dynamic law firm in Houston, TX, is designed for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in personal injury and commercial law. The role focuses on managing a diverse docket of personal injury and commercial plaintiff cases, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients effectively in trial situations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs to support plaintiffs' strategies.
  • Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, status reports, and other services to clients.
  • Go to trial when it is not in the clients' best interest to accept a settlement.
  • Manage a litigation caseload of 30-40 cases in personal injury and commercial docket.

Requirements

  • 5 years of personal injury and/or commercial plaintiff's experience.
  • Strong ability to see the big picture and maintain long-term client relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior insurance defense experience preferred.
