About the position

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various drafting software and design principles, with the ability to create precise technical drawings and plans that meet project specifications. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and design teams by translating concepts into actionable designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings, presentations, renderings, three-dimensional models, and study sketches.
• Evaluate zoning regulations and their impact on projects.
• Plan use and layout of spaces completing rudimentary architectural assignments.
• Prepare sketches, preliminary drawings, and schematic designs from the designs of others.
• Work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
• Advance conceptual design drawings to construction drawings with training.
• Gain exposure to complex tasks within the job function.

Requirements

• Technical certification for CAD and/or SketchUp.
• Experience in project management, new construction, and renovation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Photoshop, Sketchup, Lumion & the Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter that can work both in a team and independently.
