About the position

Evereve is seeking an analytical and results-driven Planner to join its Merchandising Team, focusing on Jewelry, Accessories, and Intimates. This full-time position is responsible for managing financial planning and analysis across all selling channels, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and collaborating closely with Buyers to meet financial goals. The role emphasizes strategic planning, inventory allocation, and data analysis to support business growth and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial plans including sales, inventory, turnover, and gross margin at the category level.
  • Manage category level open to buy checkbook to ensure optimal inventory levels across selling channels.
  • Support financial planning process pre-season and re-forecast in-season.
  • Analyze current trends and historical data to identify category risks and opportunities; create action plans based on these learnings.
  • Execute strategic initiatives to support overall business growth and inventory productivity goals.
  • Partner with Buyer on markdown strategies that tie to gross margin objectives.
  • Strategize, develop, and present seasonal line plans and key items that support sales and gross margin goals.
  • Partner with BI on reporting and tools needed to manage the business and communicate financial metrics.
  • Create the assortment line plan architecture by category each season that supports sales and gross margin goals.
  • Determine optimal inventory allocation by channel/location for categories based on sales plans.
  • Manage store segmentation strategies by category.
  • Execute quarterly processing of product transfers and consolidations to maximize sales and margin performance.
  • Propose order size allocation based on historical performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years merchandising, planning, and allocation omni-channel experience in the retail industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Growth-minded and curious team member open to new ideas and perspectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to impact and influence.
