About the position

As a Planner/Sr Planner in the Sales Product team at American Airlines, you will play a crucial role in the B2B Sales Tools Team within the Customer Intelligence Division. You will analyze and gather business requirements for multiple corporate initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing user stories for projects. Close collaboration with stakeholders will be necessary to ensure reasonable timelines are set, and you will be responsible for reviewing and approving product designs. Additionally, you will troubleshoot defects and data discrepancies, perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for projects, and work with the Training team on training plans and knowledge transfer. Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison with technology providers to develop and manage project plans within established timeframes
  • Analyzes and gathers business requirements for multiple corporate initiatives simultaneously
  • Prioritizes requirements (user stories) for projects
  • Works closely with stakeholders to ensure reasonable timelines are set, reviews, and approves product design
  • Troubleshoots defects and data discrepancies
  • Performs user acceptance testing (UAT) for projects
  • Works with Training on training plans and knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years or more in project management, improving customer satisfaction
  • Ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and analytics
  • Ability to transform requirements into process flows and to analyze data for problem solving using tools such as Visio and Excel
  • Ability to take ownership of role by exercising good judgement and making decisions with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional collaboration skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project and technical defect tracking tools such as Rally
  • Demonstrated expertise in any CRM platform, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
