About the position

The Planning Section Positions at Chloeta are integral to disaster response efforts, fulfilling various roles such as GIS Specialist, Resource Unit Leader, and Documentation Unit Leader. These positions involve field deployment for up to thirty days in potentially austere environments, requiring adaptability and a strong understanding of incident management.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, evaluating, and sharing information about the incident
• Monitoring the incident status and reporting significant changes
• Compiling and displaying information about the incident status
• Overseeing the preparation and implementation of the incident
• Developing contingency plans as requested by the Incident Commander
• Providing periodic predictions about the potential of the incident
• Establishing information requirements and reporting schedules for the section
• Coordinating with other command and general staff members to develop alternative strategies

Requirements

• Experience in field deployments of incidents/disasters
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS)
• ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800 training
