Planogram Reset Merchandiser

About the position

The Planogram Reset Merchandiser is responsible for preparing and reconfiguring merchandise displays in retail stores to ensure products are available for customers and supported by Route Salespeople. This role involves interpreting planograms, setting up displays, and maintaining in-line departments, contributing to customer satisfaction and effective merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Read and implement planograms
• Set up displays in accordance with planograms for seasonal and promotional products
• Sign displays and ensure proper pricing of products
• Load products on display
• Set up and reconfigure in-line sections as directed utilizing established planograms
• Provide merchandising support, including pack-out and maintenance of in-line departments
• Set up promotional and sales displays
• Introduce and cut-in new items
• Assure customer satisfaction with Imperial

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to log in and follow instructions
• Previous supermarket and/or retail route sales and/or service experience is a plus
• Telxon/MSI experience is helpful
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with ordering and merchandising general merchandise preferred
• Ability to read and write short correspondence and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
