About the position
The Piping & Evaporator Designer at Aquatech will be responsible for detailed design and drafting for piping, skid, and support design in the industrial water/wastewater industry. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to address water scarcity and sustainability challenges. The position is full-time, based in Hartland, WI, and involves collaboration with various departments to produce comprehensive CAD designs.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed design and drafting based on process data for piping, skid, and support design.
- Provide AutoCAD assistance for various departments.
- Produce 3D CAD, General Arrangement, and Piping Plans and Sections.
Requirements
- Associate degree (preferred)
- One (1) year of experience using AutoCAD 3D or Plant 3D
- Two (2) or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience in piping and/or skid design
- Ability to use AutoCAD at a high level of proficiency
- Experience with mechanical and piping designs and P&ID preparation
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and AutoCAD.
Nice-to-haves
- 3D modeling experience is desired but not necessary
- Familiarity with Navisworks Jetstream for 3D plant reviews.
