About the position
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations for Alloy Engineering and Mach3, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and practices. This role involves managing financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and forecasting, while providing financial insights to support operational improvements and decision-making. The Plant Controller plays a critical role in maintaining fiscal records and ensuring accurate reporting to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the accounting operations for Alloy Engineering and Mach3.
- Oversee financial reporting, including variance analysis, inventory management, and production cost reporting.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights that drive operational improvements.
- Implement and monitor cost control procedures and ensure compliance with local GAAP.
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly and yearly reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor plant financial performance against budgets and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee accurate tracking and reporting of inventory and manage asset depreciation rates.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting and accounting standards, managing audits effectively.
- Maintain strong communication with management and provide financial guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a plant or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial operations, cost accounting, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in managing plant-level financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience using Visual Manufacturing software is a plus.

Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
