About the position

The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the manufacturing plant, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, cost management, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in driving financial performance and supporting operational efficiency within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the plant's financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
• Coordinate with plant operations to analyze cost variances and provide insights for improvement.
• Support strategic planning and forecasting initiatives in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Utilize ERP systems to ensure accurate financial data management and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• 10+ years of management experience.
• Manufacturing experience required, similar industries highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software, with Costpoint as a preferred option.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
