About the position

As a Plant Controller at Graphic Packaging International in Sturgis, MI, you will provide financial leadership to enhance business decision-making aimed at maximizing long-term value, cash flows, and shareholder returns within the Americas Packaging Division. This role involves accurate financial reporting, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and support for continuous improvement activities to achieve world-class financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for all activities and processes of the local Site Leadership Team.
• Review month end results: P&L and Balance Sheet including variance analysis.
• Oversee monthly close process including oversight of Balance Sheet reconciliations and accurate Revenue and Expense reporting.
• Create monthly financial forecasts and analysis.
• Lead the development and analysis of the annual operating plan.
• Support Operations with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital spending.
• Conduct customer profitability analysis and pricing analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field required.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years in an Accounting/Finance role.
• 1 - 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
• Experience with ERP systems.
