About the position

As the Plant Controller at Kellanova's Rome, GA plant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial viability of the facility. You will be part of the leadership team, making key financial decisions, reviewing performance metrics, and providing direction to your finance team. Your analytical and financial skills will be essential in helping the plant meet its goals and maintain its reliability as a viable facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage Financial Performance by comparing performance against budgets and forecasts, analyzing results around key drivers, and leading continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead the Financial Close Cycle, ensuring accurate operating expenses and balance sheet accounts are developed.
• Drive the Annual Budget by overseeing the plant's budget, establishing overhead costs, setting standards, and managing operating profit and loss impacts and cash flow.
• Be Part of the Leadership Team, providing direction and guidance to meet plant initiatives and goals, and coaching personnel outside of the finance team.
• Ensure Financial and Inventory Compliance by validating adherence to Kellanova's corporate accounting policies and GAAP, and serving as the primary contact for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field and managerial experience.
• Knowledge of standard cost systems, cost analysis, and general accounting procedures and controls.
• Ability to familiarize with plant operations by visiting manufacturing production areas.
• Excellent SAP and Excel skills.
