About the position

The Plant Controller is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial results while safeguarding plant assets in a complex manufacturing environment. This role involves providing financial leadership to the Plant Management team, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as managing direct reports involved in day-to-day accounting and inventory control. The Controller collaborates with various teams to drive operational and financial improvements, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for plant operations.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliation and compliance with internal controls.
• Manage forecasting and budget planning processes.
• Conduct capital expenditure analysis and reporting.
• Perform accurate cost analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and facilitate audits.
• Develop and manage direct reports responsible for accounting and inventory control.

Requirements

• B.S. / B.A. degree in Accounting.
• CPA, CMA or equivalent designation.
• 5-7 years of related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in food and beverage.
• Experience in staff management and costing within a manufacturing context.
• Strong analytical skills and IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
