About The Position
High Plains Processing is seeking a Plant Engineer for the soon-to-be completed switch plant in Mitchell, South Dakota. High Plains is affiliated with South Dakota Soybean Processors and their partners. This affiliation provides support and years of engineering expertise to ensure the candidate thrives and continues to develop professionally. The Plant Engineer will begin their High Plains Processing career during the development and construction stages of the plant and continue to design, control, and coordinate projects to ensure optimal performance and plant efficiency. The Plant Engineer will begin in March of 2025 and will work closely with South Dakota Soybean Processors' Engineering team. This may require some travel to the Brookings, SD area. High Plains Processing is projected to open in the fall of 2025.
