About the position

The Plant Finance Manager at TreeHouse Foods is a managerial role responsible for providing financial analysis, insights, and control support to the Plant Manager. This position is integral to the plant leadership team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting continuous improvement projects, and maintaining forecast accuracy. The role involves managing accounting policies, coordinating financial results analysis, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls, all while contributing to the financial goals of the plants and the overall organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to the Plant Manager.
  • Ensure accurate financial plans and forecasts that align with strategic initiatives.
  • Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely financial statements.
  • Maintain a forecast accuracy rate of at least 95%.
  • Act as the Finance champion for company initiatives such as Master Planning and Loss Analysis.
  • Provide financial insights on key decisions and track progress against savings commitments.
  • Coordinate with Plant Department Leads on budget expectations and spending priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Partner with Engineering to prioritize project opportunities for long-term initiatives.
  • Support financial process improvements aligned with TreeHouse initiatives.
  • Ensure successful SOX audit results and financial reporting accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 6-8 years of finance and managerial experience.
  • Ability to perform complex financial analyses and provide recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring finance professionals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree (preferred but not required).
  • CPA (preferred but not required).
  • Analyst or Subject Matter Expert experience on operational or finance improvement projects.
