About the position

The Plant Finance Manager at Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is responsible for providing financial leadership to the manufacturing location. This role serves as a business partner and change agent, driving continuous improvement actions to achieve overall plant targets. The manager connects finance processes with operations, offering guidance and financial insights to ensure operational strategies lead to expected results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Drive initiatives for productivity improvements and growth in operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the operations team to develop action plans based on financial insights.
• Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction.
• Implement inventory control actions to maximize operational profitability.
• Build organizational capability through hiring and talent development.
• Lead financial forecasting processes for the site.
• Analyze and interpret financial data related to operational costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of varied finance/accounting experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals.
• Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.
• Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter.
