About the position

The Plant Health Care Fulfillment Technician at Valley Tree Care is responsible for providing high-quality tree care services in the Phoenix Valley. This role involves learning the art of tree care, managing a schedule of client visits, and ensuring effective communication with customers and management. The position emphasizes integrity, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for personal and professional growth within a family-owned company dedicated to excellence in tree care.

Responsibilities

• Learn to follow all policies and procedures for the position.
• Be able to show up consistently at 7 AM.
• Stock work truck with all equipment and supplies needed.
• Drive safely to all residential and commercial stops scheduled for the day.
• Evaluate, treat, and monitor trees for pest, disease, fungal, and cultural problems.
• Keep work truck and equipment clean and organized.
• Fill out paperwork and reports properly via our company software.
• Effectively communicate with management so they are informed of what is happening in the field.
• Continue to learn in order to improve your understanding of plant health as well as the products and services we provide.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while reporting to a supervisor.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
• Good communication skills and professionalism to work with customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in route scheduling with a client schedule.
• Applicator or pest control license (not required, but a plus).
